theater performance Gypsy Boxer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/strong>Theater of one actor performed by the Czech artist Filip Teller<\/strong>. A story about friendship that was forbidden in the Third Reich…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The monodrama is based on the life of boxing star Johann Trollmann, known as Rukeli, who in 1933 became the light heavyweight champion of Germany. However, the title was later taken away from him because of his Roma origin. He finished his last fight with bleached blond hair and a powdered face like a caricature of an “Aryan” boxer. He was murdered in 1943 in the Neuengamme concentration camp. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The international conference ART & HOLOCAUST<\/strong> attended by renowned Slovak, Norwegian, Polish and Czech historians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference \u201cCity and Space Remember\u201d<\/strong> will be on the theme Holocaust and the cities of Europe (the effects of the Holocaust on the particular cities) \u2013 deportations of Jews and Romas, their returns after the War, fates of people, women, families marked by the Holocaust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
